Have you been to Litchfield, CT? It was cold and windy, so I had to make sure I had cozy (but fashionable layers) because they have some of the best shops, and now an even better reason to make it a get away! We stayed one night @theabnerhotel right in the village of Litchfield. It is so beautifully designed you won't want to leave your room. I've made twig stars twig vases...and now twig frames! All you need are some twigs, twine and a post card, a notecard, a souvenir...or a photo. Use hot glue to connect the four sides. Use twine to make a hanger. Attach the item to be framed to a piece of cardboard and then glue the frame to the piece. Write a note on the back! Wouldn't these make the perfect valentine? I’m taking a poll today…how often do you clean your refrigerator. Once a week, once a month…Only when it really needs it? I have been using bins and containers from @loweshomeimprovement forever, and it helps keep everything nice and tidy. Once a week I clean it out. Joining a few friends for healthy recipes today—this Tom Kah Gai soup is so delicious and full of protein. We used @brodo bone broth which is what gives this soup so much flavor! If you have a bunch of candle stubs leftover from the holidays, instead of tossing them, make them into new candles. The only thing you may need to buy would be candle wicks. I used some vintage thrift store glass cups to make a batch of new candles. Since tapers are typically unscented, I used essential oils like patchoiuli, cinnamon, clove, orange, spruce and maybe a few others to give them a cozy scent. Comment CANDLE for all the details.
